This Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin boasts a stainless steel case that measures 39mm wide, 41.7mm long, and just 8.7mm thick, ensuring it wears with surprising comfort despite its striking silhouette. Gerald Genta’s original architectural vision is evident in the interplay of curves and angles, here realised in medical-grade 316L steel with polished and brushed surfaces.
The emerald green sunburst dial offers depth and shifting tones under the light. Baton indices, paired with dots at three, six, nine, and 12 o’ clock, are treated with Super-LumiNova C7 for clarity in low light. A discreet date aperture sits at six o’clock, preserving balance across the dial. Powering the watch is the automatic calibre 2.0, developed in Switzerland, measuring only 3.7mm thick. It beats at 28,800vph and provides a 50-hour power reserve through double barrels. Finishing details include Côtes de Genève, perlage, colimaçon, and a gold-finished rotor with honeycomb motif.
Completing the look is a vulcanised emerald green HNBR rubber strap featuring a Clous de Paris pattern on the top and GC tapisserie on the underside, secured by a polished steel pin buckle engraved with the GC logo. A screw-down crown, also finished with Clous de Paris, and a 100-metre water resistance add practical robustness.
This Gerald Charles Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin GC2.0-A-02 shows minor marks on the case, caseback, and buckle. Furthermore, the rubber strap is soiled.
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos. Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card. A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements. We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
