The Avenger has always been Breitling's most function-forward collection, and the GMT 44 states its purpose from the bezel outward. A rotating pinion bezel carries the full 24-timezone display, allowing the wearer to read any reference city against the 24-hour graduation at a glance, without additional pushers or crown positions. The 44mm stainless steel case carries a screw-locked crown with two gaskets, a screwed-in caseback and a cambered sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides. Water resistance reaches 300 metres, a figure that places the Avenger GMT well beyond the demands of any cockpit environment for which it was designed.
The black dial carries the military-shade palette Breitling uses across the Avenger line, with large legible hour markers and a dial aperture calendar sitting cleanly in the layout. The 24-hour GMT hand tracks the second time zone against the bezel's display, the function reading immediately under any light condition. Calibre Breitling 32 powers the watch, a self-winding movement running on 25 jewels at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the GMT function operating independently of the main timekeeping display. Power reserve holds approximately 42 hours.
The three-row stainless steel bracelet closes with a micro-adjustable folding clasp, allowing precise on-the-fly length changes without tools. At 12.05mm thick and 44mm wide, the Avenger GMT wears with the deliberate physical presence its aviation credentials demand.
This Avenger Automatic GMT 44, Reference A32320101B1A1, has visible scratches across the bezel, case, caseback, bracelet and clasp, yet it remains in very good condition.
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos. Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card. A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements. We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
